This lighthouse is best seen by boat, though distant views are possible from the waterfront in Thunder Bay. Sail Superior offers harbour tours that pass by Thunder Bay Main Lighthouse. The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Grounds open, tower closed.
